The following options are available on the General tab of the heterogeneous publication Properties dialog box.
Options
Publication name
View the name of the publication.
Database name
View the name of the database.
Description
View the description of the publication.
Publication type
View the type of publication (snapshot or transactional).
Publisher name
View the name of the Publisher.
Vendor name
View the name of the vendor who created the publication.
Distribution database
View the name of the distribution database for this publication.
Note Properties of heterogeneous Publishers and publications can only be created programmatically and cannot be set through the Microsoft® SQL Server user interface.
