Security considerations

Consider making some important files read-only for web browser access.

Typically this is done by the web site administrator at the folder level.

For example, and as a minimum,  XML system definition files and Javascript files should always be set up individually or on a folder basis as read-only to prevent unauthorized modification of their content. 

Backup and Recovery strategy

You should have a regular backup and recovery strategy in place for your target system.

Maintenance strategy

You should devise a strategy for deploying modifications you make to your VLF applications
