Using the Command Line

Using the following syntax, you can call LPR from the DOS command line or from within a batch file:

humlpr <host> <printer> <userid> <filename(s)>

You can send text or graphics files to:

• Sending Files to a PC Host with DOS hcllpd
• Sending Files to a PC Host with Windows lpd
• Sending Files to a Print Queue on a UNIX Host
