Libraries

The DB-Library functions for the Microsoft® Win32® API are stored in a dynamic-link library, Ntwdblib.dll. Net-Libraries for Microsoft Windows NT® 4.0, Microsoft Windows® 95, and Windows 98 are also implemented as DLLs. For example, Dbnmpntw.dll connects to Microsoft SQL Server™ over named pipes. Set the PATH environment variable to include the directory in which the libraries reside.

The Ntwdblib.lib file is an import library containing function definitions that your applications use.
