Preparing Presentation Information

Because access to data warehouse data is often provided through client applications, there are often tasks that must be performed in the data warehouse to prepare the information for presentation to end users. Part of the data warehouse design effort is to identify any special data configuration requirements necessary for these applications and often to configure the applications themselves as described in the application documentation.
