English Query

English Query provides a system for developing client applications that enable end users to access data using English words and phrases. English Query can be used to access data in the data warehouse database or in cubes created by Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2000 Analysis Services.

To develop an English Query application, a model must first be created that relates database tables, fields, cubes, and data to English words and phrases. An English Query application can then be generated and incorporated into custom Web or client applications and made available to end users. For more information, see English Query Overview.
