The Help Menu
The Help menu provides access to WinZip's® help information, hints and tips, frequently asked questions, and WinZip registration and ordering information. The entries are:
- Help Contents and Index displays the table of contents and index of WinZip's help. You can browse to the topic you need, look in the help index, or perform a full text search for keywords of interest.
- Brief Tutorial starts a brief step-by-step tutorial on using WinZip's main features.
- Frequently Asked Questions helps you get answers to questions you might have. You can choose between the FAQs in the help or a more extensive set of FAQs on the WinZip web site.
- Hints and Tips displays a help topic that contains miscellaneous hints and tips on how to use WinZip productively.
- Tip of the Day displays a dialog containing a useful tip about WinZip.
- Enter Registration Code appears only in the evaluation version of WinZip. Use this entry to register your copy of WinZip after you have purchased a WinZip license.
- License Agreement displays the WinZip License Agreement.
- Ordering Information displays information from the WinZip help about how to order WinZip.
- WinZip Home Page takes you to the WinZip web site.
- About WinZip displays the WinZip copyright notice, version number, and other information about your installation of WinZip.
