Filtering unwanted Web content
For protection against offensive Web content, PC-cillin offers the Site filter. This utility lets you set whatever Web sites you want "off-limits" to other users of the computer. This function is especially useful for families where many family members share one computer.
To filter unwanted Web content:
-
On the PC-cillin window, click Settings. The Settings window appears.
-
On the Settings menu, click the Quick Access link. The Quick Access screen appears.
-
Select the Enable Site filter check box.
-
Click Apply. A message box appears notifying you that the change will not take effect until you restart your computer or log off and log on again.
-
Click OK.
-
Restart your computer or log on again to immediately enable the function.
Note: If you have password-protected your Site filter screen and try to enable the Site filter on the Quick Access screen, you must supply your password.
