File Transfer Type

To access

The Transfer Type command lets you set the file transfer type to suit the type of file being transferred to or from the host.

Transfer Type

Select one of the following:

Auto—The transfer type automatically changes to suit the file. This is the default setting.

Binary—Suitable for transferring executable and other binary files.

ASCII—Suitable for transferring text files
