Gets the value of the specified column as a 16-bit signed integer.

Parameters

column
Type: System..::..String
The column name

Return Value

The value of the specified column.

Remarks

No conversions are performed; threfore, the data retrieved must already be a 16 bit integer value.

Call IsDBNull to check for null values before calling this method.
