Generating the Object Module
Once the code conversion is complete, the object module is generated by requesting an object file on the command line or in the shell interface. When using MPASM assembler for Windows, check the checkbox labeled "Object File." When using the DOS command line interface, specify the
/ooption and toggle "Assemble to Object File" to "Yes." The output file will have a.oextension.
