putContentHandler Method (C/C++)

Allows an application to register a ContentHandler. If the application does not register a ContentHandler, all content events reported by the reader will be ignored. An application can register a new or different handler while in the middle of parsing a document, and the reader will immediately start using the new handler.

Syntax

HRESULT putContentHandler(
   [in] ISAXContentHandler * pHandler);

Parameters

pHandler [in]

The ContentHandler to register.

Return Value

S_OK

The value returned if the ContentHandler is successfully registered.
