Restrict the use of a chart in the browser
When you change a setting to prevent a user from doing a specific task in a chart, you will not be able to do that task in the design program unless you change the setting again.

In the design window, make sure the chart is activated. For instructions, see Help for your design program.

Select the chart workspace by clicking the blank area outside the plot area but within the chart boundaries.

On the toolbar, click Commands and Options , and then click the Show/Hide tab.

Under Let users view, do one of the following:
Prevent adding, changing, or removing filters

Clear the Allow pivot filtering check box.
Prevent grouping or changing the layout

Clear the Allow pivot grouping check box.
Prevent display of selection marks

Clear the Selection marks check box.
Prevent access to the Commands and Options dialog box

Clear the Commands and Options dialog box check box.
