Change the view of a 3-D chart

  1. In the design window, make sure the chart is activated. For instructions, see Help for your design program.
  2. On the toolbar, click Commands and Options Button image, and then click the General tab.
  3. Under General commands, click Chart Workspace in the Select box.
  4. Click the 3D View tab.
  5. Click the Projection mode you want:

    Perspective Button image Chart objects are represented in relative distance and positions as they might appear to the eye.

    Orthographic Button image Chart objects are represented as if they all appear on the same plane, on a surface that is perpendicular to both the view and the lines of projection.

  6. Make the changes you want by dragging the sliders for each option. For example, to rotate the lighting source for the chart, drag the rotation slider Slider image under Lighting.

Notes

  • To return to the default view of the chart, click Default Button image next to Default view.
  • To make the height ratio or depth ratio proportionate, select the Height Ratio or Depth Ratio check box.
