Display minus signs on negative numbers

1. Select the cells you want to change.
2. On the Format menu, click Cells, and then click the Number tab.
3. Do one of the following:

   For simple numbers, click Number in the Category list.

   For currency, click Currency in the Category list.

4. In the Negative numbers box, select the display style for negative numbers.
