Before you can start running the application, please make sure the following prerequisites are met:

 

1. Processor – At least a Pentium III

2. Minimum RAM required is 512 MB.

 

Please ensure you have the latest Service Pack and critical updates for your version of Windows.

 

Software Requirements

Server

• Recommended operating systems are Windows Server 2003 , Windows XP Professional
• Firebird / Interbase should not be pre-installed from any other Software vendors product.
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or more recent

 

 

PMSC recommends not running the client on the server machine.

 

Client

 

• Recommended operating systems are Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7
• Firebird / Interbase should not be pre-installed from any other Software vendors product.
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 and above
• No other 3rd party software is required to run GPComplete. (e.g. Microsoft Word/Office)

 

Terminal Services - go to Terminal Services

 

Firewall Settings

 

Server:
The firebird database server listens on port 3050 of the server by default.

Keep this Database Port open if you are using a firewall to allow the clients to connect to the server. 
Keep Port 6667 open as this is required by the GP Service.

 

Clients: 
Keep Port 6666 open as all clients need to listen on this port.
