Adding an action
Open the Task Manager, R click then select Add Task
Give your Task a name
Set a priority- if required
Change the Status - if required but this is usually set by the person accepting the task
You can send the task to a person or a group (eg Receptionists, Nurses, Doctors, Administrators)
The Task will arrive in their Inbox
You can add attachments by selecting files within the system
Enter a note to the person you are sending the Task.
Actions are added by the recipient of the Task
If you add an action to your Task then you have accepted the Task and it will appear in your Inbox.
Therefore don't add actions to your tasks - unless you want to "Accept" the task
Any person adding an action automatically "Accepts"the task.
The Owner of the Task can view who has accepted the task as it is displayed in the row.
If the Task is sent to a Group, then the first member of that group to add an action to the Task then "Accepts" the Task
The system will then automatically remove the Task from the rest of the members in the group.
