To stop or start the GP Service
Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
or
Go to Start > Run.
Type in "services.msc" in the box and hit enter.
The list of Windows Services will be displayed.
Scroll down to the GP Service and then right click on the row.
From the menu select to either stop or start the Service.
The Service form can then be closed.
If the GP Service is not started then
- Results will not be download to the Intray.
- Letters and scan documents can't be read or stored.
