Add Pathology Favourites

Doctors or administrators of the system can group pathology requests together as a favourite.

For example a favourite named "Pregnancy" could contain all routine antenatal screening tests.

Using favourites can reduce the time required for issuing pathology requests to patients.

To create a pathology favorite from the main menu

click on Administration > Pathology > Favourites > Add New.

The pathology favourites form will be displayed to you.

Type in a favourite name.

Type in notes which are added to the request form.

The grid on the left shows the list of all requests in the system.

Reduce this by filtering down the number of records in the left grid by searching for the requests.

Only the requests matched by your search criteria will then be displayed on the left grid.

then:

Drag and drop the request from the left grid to the right grid

or

highlight a test in the left grid and hit the enter key to add the test to the right grid

or

use the arrow keys between the two grids. The arrow keys can also be used to move requests between the left & right grids.

Make use of the Ctrl and Shift keys of the keyboard to help you with multiple selection of requests.

For instance if "pregnancy" is selected from the drop down arrow in the favourites field then a group of tests can be selected.

After you have selected your requests click save.

If you want to share this favorite with other doctors, then please tick the "Share with other doctors" checkbox. All doctors of the system will then be able to use your favorite for issuing pathology requests to patients.
