Make an AutoShape or text box automatically fit its text

1. Click the border of the AutoShape or text box you want to resize.
2. If you selected an AutoShape, click AutoShape on the Format menu, and then click the Alignment tab.

   If you selected a text box, click Text Box on the Format menu, and then click the Alignment tab.

3. Select the Automatic size check box.

Note   If you later change the size of the AutoShape or text box, you must fit the AutoShape or text box to the text again by selecting the Automatic size check box.
