Use of Empirical MACs
The following is a small compilation of mass absorption coefficients (MACs) from a number of investigators. Some of these MACs may be selected for use in the quantitative calculations in Probe for EPMA, from the Analytical | Empirical MACs menu item. Up to MaxEmp% empirical mass absorption coefficients may be defined for each run. These MACs will be saved to the .MDB file for subsequent re-processing and can be added to, changed or deleted again.
