NoteJava Runtime Environment is automatically installed with SAMreport-Lite for AutoCAD-based products and Autodesk Inventor.

SAMreport-Lite requires Java Runtime Environment 1.4.2_04.

To install Java Runtime Environment

Insert the Autodesk product media into your computer’s drive.
Go to <product>/x86/support/SAMreport-Lite/Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.204 and click on the Windows Installer Package.
On the License Agreement page, accept the terms, and then click Next.
On the Setup Type page, select Typical or Custom and click Next. The installation will begin.
A Typical installation installs all of Java’s features. With a Custom installation, you can specify the install directory and choose program features to install. Custom installs are only recommended for advanced users.
When the installation process is complete, click Finish.
