Use this dialog box to update the current AutoCAD Map 3D coordinate system files to include your custom coordinate system definitions from a previous release of AutoCAD Map 3D.
Option | Function |

Source Directory | Select the directory that contains the old coordinate system files. You can enter the directory path in the box or click Browse to navigate to an existing directory. |
Destination Directory | Select the directory that contains the current AutoCAD Map 3D coordinate system files. You can type the directory path in the box or click Browse to navigate to an existing directory.
To have CSUPDATE automatically enter the location of the shared coordinate system files, enter a question mark (?). |
Create Backup Of Destination Files | Select this option to make backup copies of the files in the destination folder. |
Prompt For Conflicts And Warnings | Select this option if you want the program to prompt you with conflicts or warnings during the conversion process. |
Create Log File Of Changes | Select this option to create a log file of the changes made during the conversion process. |
Log File | Specify the name of the log file. The default name is csupdate.log. You can type a new name in the box or click Browse to navigate to an existing file. |
Update | Click this button to begin updating. The Coordinate System Update Utility updates the destination files. |
