Use Group Policies to Install a Deployment
Verify That the Program Is Assigned to a Computer
As a computer is restarted, the operating system displays messages about group policy, generally just before or after the Windows Login dialog box is displayed. These messages include the following:
- Windows starting up
- Applying computer settings
- Installing managed software <application>
- Applying software installation settings
- Loading your personal settings
- Applying your personal settings
From a Windows XP or Windows 2000 workstation, users log in under the organizational unit or computer for which the group policy has been created.
NoteIf problems arise, an
entry is logged in the system's Event Viewer under Applications.
