Using Eudora with ACT!
Consider the following when using Eudora with ACT!:
Eudora must be installed and working correctly.
Some of ACT!'s e-mail features are limited when used with Eudora.
If you are using Eudora to access Internet e-mail, you should consider using ACT!'s Internet Mail instead.
Eudora works only with POP3 protocol, not with HTTP accounts, such as Hotmail.
Messages can only be sent in plain text.
For e-mail mail merges, the recipient will receive the body of the message in plain text format and the message itself as an HTML attachment.
You may receive a security warning each time you send e-mail from ACT!. You can disable this message by selecting "Don’t warn me anymore."
To set up Eudora
From the Tools menu, click Preferences.
Click the E-mail tab, and then click E-mail System Setup.
The E-mail Setup Wizard opens.
Follow the instructions on the screens, clicking Next to advance. Press F1 for field definitions.
Click Finish.
