File checksum
This checksum is done on all data present in a data file. This could include data on a non existing memory area of a ST microcontroller (for example: EPROM split in two areas).
The file checksum operation is performed simply by calculating the sum of all of the file's data bytes, giving a unique signature for each file. The Device Status window shows for all different areas, all the files loaded with their file checksums.
NOTE: one data file is needed per memory area (EPROM, FLASH, EEPROM and Option Byte).
